Honestly, all political sarcasm aside, is this an actual argument against education (and by extension, healthcare)? I'm completely baffled and depressed if so.
But the budget for the US military in 2018 is $824.6 billion total, compared to the Sanders plan to educate anyone clever enough which is (if her figures are correct) only $75 billion total. Put like that, it seems like a no-brainer. She's being disingenuous comparing a budget hike to a budget total.

How does this make sense to anyone?

Not to mention this is a $54 billion increase over what was already the largest military budget in the world
Edit: For context, it was $597 billion in 2015
