I live in Illinois. You know, the land of Lincoln.
People around me fly the confederate flag proudly and claim to be patriots.
People around me claim the Civil War was not "a war over slavery."
People around me are generally pretty shitty, but this resurgence of "rebel pride" is pretty frightening.
