As lovely as the idea is I don't think it's realistic. Telling someone you love them at the wrong time can be disastrous and even selfish in some ways. There are also many more times that I have wished I hadn't said something than me wishing I had. Life is unfortunately not simple all the time and it requires critical thinking and sometimes complex thoughts to know when an interaction with someone as well meaning as it might be could result in a negative outcome for both parties. Life isn't simple and those complexities make it all the more beautiful and enigmatic, moments of quiet simplicity are rare and should be savoured but truly appreciating them requires contrast.
I wish it was that easy. But if you miss your ex, you can't just call them. If you dislike your job or boss, you can't tell them. If you love someone, they shouldn't always know...
