This story is hard to believe. Usually at 9:00 - 9:30 MTA workers would be on coffee break. After coffee break is way too close to lunch to start anything as ambitious as repainting the warning strip. After lunch nobody feels like doing any painting
Reminds me of an incident at my old workplace. The owners decided to put down all new white tiles on our 10,000 square feet of retail space. The very next week the people who own the parking lot decided to reseal the entire lot. There were black streaks from shopping cart wheels everywhere. They had to call the contractors back and have them tear up all the brand new tiles by the entrance and put new ones in again.
