What gets me about this is that it requires the cooperation of 13 drivers, none of whose job it is to prevent this man's suicide. A dozen+ people saying "we want you to live" is a pretty powerful message.

What's also remarkable is the ability of the person to keep the man from jumping the entire time the rescue was being orchestrated. You can't clear an entire stretch of freeway in both directions and get 13 semis to radio each other to do this that quickly.

Small article on this, the truckers didn't do this on their own but were willing to help
