reminds me of a more cabin-esque version of the nursery from peter pan for some reason

You don't see very much built in wood work these days. Stunning.

So uh, believe it or not my family owns this place. I was scrolling through /r/all, saw this post, and was just like "wtf, I know where this is." Have spent many a cozy summer here. The whole cabin is breathtaking, and I'm currently trying to find the rest of the series of these photos, as the cabin was featured in some magazine some time back. I'll update this comment if I find it. I guess ask me almost anything about this place if you want, haha.

EDIT: Found another photo from the main bedroom. The caption has some info about the history of the place, as well. They literally shipped the house from Norway to America: http://www.finehomebuilding.com/2018/02/11/norwegian-wood

EDIT 2: Also, can confirm about the stubbed toes /u/CptBrian

EDIT 3: I have to go for a bit but my dad said he'd be able to send me some pictures in an hour or so. I'll put them here when I get them!

EDIT 4: Well my dad didn't end up sending me anything so I did a lot more digging and found a bunch more photos. Enjoy. Not quite sure why some of them are so grainy/sepia but you get the idea.
