I went to a private school in 7th grade. There were only a few good things from that year. One of them was my history teacher told us that every job is important & specifically pointed out these kinds of public service jobs. She told us to never, ever make fun of something someone does.

I’m a full time janitor and a part time uber driver.
It feels good to provide service. But it sucks to be viewed as less than.
