Grandma has told me that both the glove and the jersey were worn in game and given to my grandparents as they married a couple on home plate for opening day. (Grandma and grandpa were ministers).
EDIT: Glove was a giveaway day at Safeco Field (not game worn) Grandmas memory ain’t what it used to be.
