Robert Mikell Ussery, 54, and Jodie Marie Mann, 56, remain inside the Wilson County Jail.

Ussery runs a website, Side Thorn, that calls the Sutherland Springs, Parkland, and Las Vegas Strip massacres "drills using crisis actors that were sold to the public as real," The Dallas Morning News reports.

First Baptist Church Pastor Frank Pomeroy told the San Antonio Express-News Ussery approached him in his car and started yelling, saying "Your daughter never even existed.

Show me anything to say she was here."

On a Sutherland Springs community Facebook page, residents have complained for months about Ussery and Mann, and Pomeroy said he was glad they didn't leave the scene before police could arrest them on Monday.

"If it takes something happening before you get rid of these guys, then I'm just glad that this 'something happened' happened and nobody got hurt," he said. »

Rhode Island bill would charge $20 fee to unblock Internet porn

March 6 (UPI) -- Rhode Island lawmakers introduced a bill this month that would charge porn viewers an extra $20 fee.

The bill, introduced by Democratic state senators Frank Ciccone and Hanna Gallo, would require Internet service providers to automatically block all "sexual content and/or patently offensive material.".

Rhode Island state law defines "patently offensive material" as anything that is "so offensive on its face as to affront current standards of decency.". »

Mariners agree to deal with Ichiro Suzuki

The deal would be a Major League contract, according to ESPN.com, which means the Mariners would have to make a move to open a spot on their 40-man roster.

The Mariners have a strong history of Japanese players, with Ichiro being the most prominent.

Mac Suzuki was the first Japanese player for the Mariners, pitching for Seattle in 1996 and 1998-99. »

Man arrested after criticizing Etowah sheriff released from jail, to attend drug court

The 20-year-old man who was arrested last month four days after AL.com published critical comments he made about Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin has been released from jail amid a public outcry over his arrest.

"If Mr. Qualls successfully completes the drug court program, his charges will be dismissed," Bone said via email.

Facebook users from Etowah County and beyond also posted dozens of comments criticizing the way Qualls was treated. »
