I definitely did this!!! Also plastic wrap really helps. I Saran Wrapped silverware and make up/jewelry organizers, bookshelves, and drawers for my last move. Highly recommend!!!
When you're moving, use different kinds of bags for different purposes, and don't mix them up. Use transparent bags for things you want to keep, and opaque bags for garbage.

I’m moving soon, and 90% of my family’s clothes are on hangers. You are my hero.
