According to documents and sources, Apple AAPL, -0.32% has run into a problem at Apple Park: Because so much of the interior is made from glass — the walls and doors, for example — people are walking into the panes, sometimes painfully.

While the issue might seem humorous, there are workplace regulations that Apple could be violating.

The two men — one an employee, according to the records — both walked into glass and suffered cuts to the head on Jan. 2.

Just heard that the first day Apple Park opened, seven people injured themselves by walking straight into the glass doors.

Apple’s new headquarters is far from the only modern structure that’s run into problems because of large, transparent surfaces.

Apple stock has gained 27.7% in the past year, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.08% , which counts Apple as a component, increased 24.3% in that time.

Apple is the most valuable company in the world, with a market capitalization of $877.8 billion at Thursday’s closing price of $172.99, according to FactSet. »

A day after a former student opened fire at a high school in Parkland, Fla., killing 17 people, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin called for the nation to consider restrictions on violence in video games and movies, not guns.

NBC News is publishing its database of more than 200,000 tweets that Twitter has tied to "malicious activity" from Russia-linked accounts during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Investigators have traced the accounts to a Kremlin-linked propaganda outfit founded in 2013 known as the Internet Research Association (IRA).

But when Twitter suspends accounts, it deletes their tweets from public view and demands that third parties using its data delete the tweets, too. »

Thirteen Russians have been criminally charged for interfering in the 2016 US election to help Donald Trump, the office of Robert Mueller, the special counsel, announced on Friday.

The Russians allegedly posed as Americans to operate bogus social media accounts, buy advertisements and stage political rallies.

Three defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants were charged with aggravated identity theft. »
