image for Michigan Teenager Expected to Testify at Rape Trial Is Found Dead

Mujey Dumbuya, a 16-year-old Michigan teenager, had been expected to testify at the trial of a habitual offender who is accused of raping her in a school parking lot last summer.

But on Jan. 25, three days after the April 9 trial date had been set, Mujey’s family, who live near Grand Rapids, reported her missing to the police.

Three days later, her body was found in a wooded area about 50 miles away, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

The police in Kalamazoo are investigating the death as a homicide, but have released few details and did not respond to a request for comment on Friday.

He faces four felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with someone 13 to 15 years old.

As of Friday, he was being held at the Kent County jail with bail set at $500,000.

Mujey was last seen on the morning of Jan. 24, and the Kalamazoo police originally reported Mujey as a possible runaway. »

Elderly on Medical Cannabis Stop or Reduce Opioid Use

After six months of treatment with medical cannabis, over 14 percent of elderly patients stopped using opioids altogether, while another 3.7 percent were able to reduce their dosage of opiates.

278 patients (35.1%) reported a decrease in the number of drugs or their dosage, and 47 patients (5.9%) reported an increase in the number of drugs or their dosage.

Patients also reported reducing the use of other prescription medications; beyond just prescription opioids, over 35 percent of patients were able to decrease their dosage of prescription drugs following treatment with medical cannabis. »

The head of Nintendo has said he wants to support the Switch for much longer than the usual five or six-year console life.

But it doesn’t seem as if Nintendo has any intention of replacing the Switch with a more powerful model – quite the opposite in fact.
