Bypass that by pulling the notification or control center so it doesn’t show and then screenshot. Works for me on 11.3, iPhone X(may be different since the control center is different).
My Dad got a high score on Atari baseball in the 80's. He wouldn't let us turn off the game or the T.V. until my Aunt came over with one of those 35mm cameras with a flash bulb bar you placed on top. It was like 3 or 4 hours before she got there. She took the picture and then wouldn't drop off the film until she filled the roll. So it took about a month to find out that the flash made the T.V. completely black. My Dad was so pissed, as were us kids because he spent weeks trying to get another high score every night for hours so instead of us getting to watch T.V. or play video games we had to listen to our Dad swear and throw controllers until they finally all broke. The 80's were awesome!
