You need to pop it cause all that water is sitting between the paint and the plaster wall and plaster doesn't like to get wet. Grab a big bucket, take a very sharp pointed knife and poke a small hole at the very lowest part of the bubble. Don't stab it like you're hunting for dinner, just a small poke to make sure it doesn't rip all the way across. Once all the water is gone gentle massage the paint back into place and it will dry and harden. You should find the leak, stop it, and then replace the plaster there. Have fun!! did this 5-6 times in the past
