With that being said, Jones has won Chambers, Lee, Russell, and Barbour Counties, which was expected.

Additionally, Jones and has flipped Lee County, which essentially gives Doug Jones the entirety of the eastern Black Belt.

9:53 PM EST: Lee County, which is one of Alabama’s largest population centers (Home of Auburn University), has gone for Doug Jones.

Rural counties that border the “black belt” are seeing more votes overall for Doug Jones than other comparable Democrats.

8:53 PM EST: Roy Moore has taken the lead over Doug Jones, maintaining a lead of around 7-8%.

Many Doug Jones counties have very few precincts reporting, which could be indicator of his steep drop in performance. »

'The Punisher' Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix

The streaming giant has renewed Daredevil spinoff Marvel's The Punisher for a second season, helping to cement the future of the Marvel universe on the platform amid Disney's plans for an SVOD service of its own.

Punisher is the sixth Marvel series on Netflix and joins Daredevil (renewed for season three), Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage (with the latter trio all picked up for sophomore runs).

The news comes as Disney is readying its own stand-alone SVOD service, pulling all of its Marvel feature films from Netflix. »

Alabama is allowed to destroy digital voting records created at the polls during today's U.S. Senate election after all.

At 1:36 p.m. Monday, a Montgomery County Circuit Court judge issued an order directing Alabama election officials to preserve all digital ballot images created at polling places across the state today.

By that point the state will have had ample time to destroy the digital ballot images legally under the stay. »
