- Newly released video from the September police shooting of Ruben Galindo shows he had his hands raised above his head seconds before he was fatally shot by police.

The video shows Galindo, who is Hispanic, first appear in his doorway holding something indiscernible in his hand.

The 30-year-old then falls to the ground outside the northeast Charlotte apartment.

The two officers who shot Galindo remain on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, as is department policy.

Galindo was shot and killed on September 6 when officers responded to a call Galindo made, telling CMPD he was in possession of a gun.

Later, he says that he wants to turn himself in, that people and police were following him, and that he was tired of it.

We will work with authorities to ensure a thorough investigation is concluded so justice can be achieved for Rueben.". »

The V30 is ~7.4mm thick with a headphone jack while the OnePlus 5 (and its headphone jack) clocks in at ~7.3mm. Smartphones aren’t even getting thinner, so what gives?. »

Jaimie Johnson: Born Rich, Children Of the Insanely Wealthy

Authored by our-world.cf

In the early 2000s, Jamie Johnson, an heir of the Johnson & Johnson fortune, decided to make a documentary about the experiences of children of the insanely wealthy.

The result, Born Rich, premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and is a fascinating (and infuriating) look at the lives of kids that have more money than many countries.

This is the film that was referenced in John Oliver’s incredible takedown of Donald Trump the other night when he played a clip of an interview with Ivanka Trump. »

MacFarlane then took things a step further and proclaimed he is “confident there will be a second season” of The Orville.

MacFarlane was unable to physically attend because he was editing The Orville season finale, but he transported himself to the stage via space-age technology Skype.

When asked by an attendee how many episodes Fox has been ordered for the second season, MacFarlane said Fox has yet to officially order a second season for The Orville. »
