A man wrapped a car in cling film after becoming frustrated with people parking outside his house and then going on holiday.

Neil Junglas, 36, from Hunts Cross decided to get his own back on the driver of a silver Skoda that has now been outside his house for two days.

He said he was making dinner for his daughter on Tuesday evening when he saw the car pull up and a woman get out and then climb into a taxi.

A man then got out of the car with two suitcases of luggage and also got in to the taxi and drove off.

Neil said: “They were clearly leaving their car there and just getting a taxi to the airport.

“Obviously they just wanted some free parking.

“Next door have a couple of cars as well so there isn’t really room for other cars to park on the road.”

Neil complained he can no longer park his own car outside of his house because of the Skoda.

He said: “I thought it was cheeky leaving the car there so thought I’d leave them a nice surprise for when they got back.

“I work at Costco so I went and bought a big roll of cling-film from there.”

Neil said he then wrapped the entire car using an industrial sized roll of cling-film.

He told The ECHO that the car has attracted lots of attention and people have been stopping to take pictures.

Neil added that police even came to check the car but said they couldn’t do anything about it because it isn’t illegally parked.

I owned a business near a popular restaurant, when parking would fill up at the restaurant people would come and park in my parking lot. It wouldn't be a problem, but there was plenty of street parking and I actually lived there, and often had company. If there was someone taking up one of my few spots, my friends wouldn't have a place to park. I usually would give a courtesy call to the restaurant and tell them that if they had someone in there that owned the vehicle parked in my lot that they should have them come and move the vehicle. Nine out of 10 times people would show up a few minutes later and move the car. One day I called and no one move the car so I called back and said hey I need you guys to have them move the car. They told me that they informed the owner that they were parked in my parking lot and ask them to move it and the owner said that they would not move it, and that I was more than welcome to call a tow truck. I put on a Southern accent and told them that Billy Bob was going to get the tractor and take care of things and hung up. It just so happened that I had a bunch of heavy machinery parked right near my place because we are in the middle of relocating it so I parked a bunch of very large tractors all around the person's vehicle making it impossible for it to move. A few hours later the owners were knocking at my door asking me to move my tractor and I told them that I would not and that if they wanted to call tow truck they were more than welcome to (knowing a tow truck wouldn't be able to move any of these giant machines). They called the police and the police showed up and explained to them that but what I was doing was perfectly legal, and left. The people hung out in my parking lot for about an hour until they started offering me money to move the equipment. I made a quick $300 dollars that night and sent a clear message to the restaurant, who now has signs warning people not to park in my parking lot if their lot is full. I wouldn't have done anything ordinarily, but the fact that they told me I could call a tow truck if I wanted to showed me that they knew the laws there and knew that since it was private property I would have to pay out of pocket for the tow. Dicks.

My friend left his beat up truck parked in a neighborhood for a month. Someone painted a bunch of sea life (fish, stars, shells etc) all over it. The mermaid took up the whole passenger side. Plus he had a bunch of tickets.
