image for Chatbot lets you sue Equifax for up to $25,000 without a lawyer

To add insult to injury, Equifax waited over a month before revealing the security breach it had suffered.

If you’re one of the millions affected by the breach, a chatbot can now help you sue Equifax in small claims court, potentially letting you avoid hiring a lawyer for advice.

Even if you want to be part of the class action lawsuit against Equifax, you can still sue Equifax for negligence in small claims court using the DoNotPay bot and demand maximum damages.

He says, “I hope that my product will replace lawyers, and, with enough success, bankrupt Equifax.”.

Unfortunately, the chatbot can’t show up in court a few weeks later to argue your case for you either.

Attorney Scott Nelson, from the advocacy organization Public Citizen, says he isn’t convinced a chatbot can successfully win a lawsuit.

Equifax seems like it’s going to put up a fight, so help in the form of chatbots can’t hurt. »

They find that at least nine exoplanets are ideally placed to observe transits of Earth, in a new work published in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.

In the new study, the authors reverse this concept and ask, "How would an alien observer see the Solar System?"

Nine of these planets are ideally placed to observe transits of Earth, although none of the worlds are deemed to be habitable. »

While Trump never responded to Mexico’s offer, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said his state would accept the country’s aid.

Trump did not offer condolences to Mexico after either disaster, as is common when tragedies befall U.S. allies, even as multiple American mayors and governors offered their sympathies and help.

Trump’s silence as the earthquake death toll climbed was widely seen here as another sign of Trump’s cool attitude toward Mexico. »
