Total terrorism deaths in the US all time: 3662 (3100 or so from Islam extremists, almost entirely in 9/11).
Total civilian deaths in the Iraq war: 60,000 - 200,000, depending on the source used.
If Americans are going to hate on middle easterners in general for 9/11, then middle easterners have at least 20x as much cause to hate on Americans in general for the Iraq war.
Edit: As pointed out below, if you move outside well-documented deaths, the civilian death toll of the Iraq war may be well in excess of 500,000
Let's look at the recent history of the US and Iraq.
The 80s: the US backed Saddam during some of his worst atrocities. He was using chemical weapons against the Kurds and killing his own people all while receiving support from the US.
1990: Saddam invades Kuwait and the US replaces support with sanctions. These sanctions destroyed iraqs economy and strengthened Saddam by making Iraqis more dependent on him. The sanctions killed half a million children through the 90s (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctions_against_Iraq)
2003: George Bush lied about WMDs and invaded the country. Iraqi society was essentially destroyed. ISIS crawled out of the rubble and wrought untold harm to the people of Iraq and neighboring countries as well.
2017: Donald Trump tries to pass laws preventing Iraqis from tavellling to the US.
