One big problem in America is that while there is plenty of money, rich people have too much of it.

So says the world’s second-richest man, Warren Buffett.

“The real problem, in my view, is the prosperity has been unbelievable for the extremely rich people,” he told PBS Newshour Monday.

“If you go to 1982, when Forbes put on their first 400 list, those people had $93 billion.

Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percent have seen their share decline in a big way, to 12 percent from 20 percent.

Buffett pointed out that the economy has been growing since 2009, following the recession the previous year.

Buffett, though, urged Trump to be careful what he claimed responsibility for. »

Venezuela crisis: Helicopter launches attack on Supreme Court

A helicopter has attacked Venezuela's Supreme Court in what President Nicolás Maduro called a "terrorist" incident.

Ex-policeman Oscar Pérez said he had piloted the stolen helicopter to attack what he called a "criminal government".

The helicopter then flew to the court and dropped four Israeli-made grenades of "Colombian origin". »

Maine confirms its first case of measles in 20 years

AUGUSTA, Maine -- The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a confirmed case of measles in Franklin County that it says is related to travel.

The state says the Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory confirmed the case.

The last reported case of measles in the state was in 1997. »
