The ‘Anaconda’ singer has been contributing funds to an Indian village since last few years.

Minaj known for her giving nature had cleared student loans via Twitter, where she tweeted students to tweet back to her.

"We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some (people) don't even have clean water.

Minaj said she would be dropping more details about her charity work in the "near future", in case fans want to get involved.

Their desire was to have water wells and places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc.

U.S. Supreme Court tosses Republican-drawn North Carolina voting districts

The court was unanimous on upholding the ruling on one of the districts and split 5-3 on the other, with three conservatives dissenting.

"The North Carolina Republican legislature tried to rig congressional elections by drawing unconstitutional districts that discriminated against African-Americans and that's wrong," North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, a Democrat took office in January, said in a statement.

The Supreme Court has never said legislative districts cannot be mapped based on plainly partisan aims like maximizing one party's election chances. »
